We are honored and privileged to have been selected as recipients of a 2018 Global Sepsis Award.

We wrote the feature article for Amputee Coalition's 

March/April 2018 edition of inMotion Magazine.  Sepsis accounts for 

38 amputations a day!​​

Sue was featured on the cover of the December 2017 edition of O&P Edge Magazine.  The article focused on living with multiple limb loss.

Sue and Jay were honored by Sepsis Alliance as Sepsis Heroes for 2017!  On September 14, 2017, Jay accepted the award on behalf of Sue and Jay at the Sepsis Heroes Gala in New York City.  

Sue was honored as a 2016 Jim Thorpe Courage Award Winner on Thursday, September 22, 2016.  For 22 years, INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation has presented Courage Awards to "individuals who display exceptional bravery and grace through the most difficult of circumstances." 

Sue was honored by INTEGRIS and the Oklahoma City Dodgers as a Homerun for Life Honoree on Friday, July 22, 2016.  From the Dodgers website, "Each season, INTEGRIS Health and the Dodgers recognize five brave individuals in the Oklahoma City community who, with the help of their families, physicians and health care professionals, have overcome a significant medical event in their life. Honorees are recognized during the game and get to take a ceremonial trip around the bases, symbolizing the end of a battle against adversity."
